What We Are About

Oakland Children and Family ministry seeks to raise up Oakland Kids with a  passion for Jesus and Compassion for others.  We believe that in order to grow an authentic, transformative faith, kids need a place to belong and someone to believe in them.   To that end, we employ the Orange strategy that combines the two primary influences in a child’s life:  the home and the church.  Alone these two work hard to ensure that every child has a BETTER FUTURE but when they are combined- They make a GREATER IMPACT.

Ways To Serve

We are always looking for people who love kids and love Jesus.  We practice Safe Sanctuaries and all of our volunteers are trained and have undergone thorough background checks.  You can use your gifts in Large Group settings, as a Small Group leader, or as a nursery helper.  We also have many opportunities throughout the year to serve at one-time events and special programs.

We are really in need of nursery volunteers at our 8:30am service. Please contact Rebekah as soon as possible if you would like to serve!
